Any chance that you could adapt this test suite to the cygwin test
suite, Chuck?

Also, I didn't see anything in your tests that would block a 1.3.0
release.  I'm hoping to do that real soon.

In fact, I had a 1.3.0 version on sources.redhat.com briefly before I
remembered that we're waiting for Robert Collins to check in his recent
patches.
