Agree. Maybe I should have known from previous announcements that the forever
cutoff date was today, but I didn't. I'm now in the process of updating a couple
of packages that need it, so the i686 archive will reflect the latest available
versions. It would be helpful if we had a couple more days to update before the
portcullis comes down.
