Normally in a regular/autotools build the maintainer appends these 
overrides to:

	CYGCONF_ARGS=...gl_cv_have_weak=guessing\ no

or to:

src_compile() {
         cd ${S}
         cygautoreconf
         cd ${B}
	cygconf ... gl_cv_have_weak=guessing\ no
         cygmake
}
