Igor -- go forth with my blessing. :-)

Off the top of my head, there were patches submitted for some bugfixes 
(like the aformentioned sed stuff), functionality extensions (package 
listings, gpg signing, etc), and more that I can't recall right now.

Some were good and some were just fiddly nitpicking things -- ie. 
wheat/chaff.  Just use your own judgement.

When I get back to my cygwin box, I'll grab my archive of submitted 
patches and tar 'em up so you can enjoy them. :-)
