I was articulating what cygfile does for you. I wouldn't normally refer
to it as MingW land :}. To be precise we have methods that execute using
the mingw libc and provide access to the cygwin directory structure. The
build process is irrelevant - real mingw or -mno-cygwin the result is
the same. (Or maybe I'm just missing your point?)
