I want to release perl-5.8 as soon as DB4 is available.  You can
already fetch it with "Exp" setting in setup.exe from every Cygwin
mirror.  Can you try if it works to build Exim with perl-5.8?  I'll
try to build it too with your source package and with perl-5.8 this
evening.
