jq 1.8.1-1 is now available in Cygwin. This release includes security fixes
and several small bug fixes and improvements. See

jq is like sed for JSON data – you can use it to slice, filter, map, and
transform structured data with the same ease that sed, awk, grep and friends
let you alter text.
