I have just released cygport-0.12.0 for the Cygwin distribution and the
Fedora Cygwin repository.  New in this release:

* Full support for running on, and building for, x86_64-pc-cygwin.

* Support for Automake 1.13.

* New definitions: ARCH, ARCH_i686, ARCH_x86_64.

* New function: cross_compiling.

* Bug fixes for filenames in $D containing spaces.

       list_deps: ignore gdb.py files
       prepstrip: force long section names for debuginfo
       cmake: set AR and RANLIB for cross-compiling
       toolchain: provide --target argument here

       autotools: refine AC_LIB_HAVE_LINKFLAGS override
       prepstrip: check for 64bit DLLs with 32bit ImageBase
       src_prep: do not create .orig files during cygpatch
       Make cross_compiling() public, part 2
       pkg_pkg: fix typo in docs
       autotools: override AC_LIB_HAVE_LINKFLAGS for toolchain packages
       postinst: default KEEP_LA_FILES as all only on i686
