arm-none-eabi-gdb fails bacause xml is disabled

Yes, this is a now-known issue, and I'm working on this right now (expect
the patches late tonight). I'll see if I can backport them to the stable
branch, too.

In the meantime, I see you're using Trevor's suggestion, which is just
a workaround. I'm working on making this automatic from now on.
