Yes. The ideal is to make a cross toll-chain, having host a Laptop Intel 64 bits, and target a OMAP l138 DSP/ARM.

I tried your remarks:
# pwd
/usr/src/kernels/3.3.4-5.fc17.x86_64
# make ARCH=arm headers_check
CHK include/linux/version.h
Makefile:1066: *** Headers not exportable for the arm architecture. Stop.
Some suggestion? All comments and suggestions are highly welcome.
