Very good idea - I had exactly the same problem when I started building 
my crosstool chain and had to do the unwind "manually" - via a patch 
(yeah, I know - the hard way) before discovering that there is an option 
I could use. Placing this in a prominent place(s) (i.e. the manual/docs 
and on the menuconfig help) would prevent similar unpleasant experiences.
