From your log file, line 104:
[...]/./gcc/cc1: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found
(required by [...]/build-cc-core-static/./gcc/cc1)

Googling around brings up:

Which has reference to LD_LIBRARY_PATH on Gentoo.

Care to paste your .config, please?
