the target board is a custom one, similar to EBD9307A
(http://www.cirrus.com/en/pubs/manual/EDB9307A_Tech_Ref_Manual.pdf)
the kernel version is 2.6.20, i also have a working 2.6.24

i have a initramfs based root filesystem that gets booted correctly
when compiling the binaries with the toolchain provided by Cirrus,
several ELDK toolchains or some others i tried. on the other hand
there are other toolchains like OSELAS or crosstool-ng that produce
binaries that won't boot
