patch for adding glibc-2.4 and glibc-2.5 with NPTL support

Hi Khem,

I've just committed your patch for glibc-2.5 with NPTL with my minor
changes to the repository. The minor changes I made include things
like making it work with glibc-2.3.* and making sure --build and
--host are always different.

Please take a look and see if it is appropriate.
