cpu32 and linker

Hi,
I am trying to build an application running on a cpu32  
microcontroller. I notice that when I link with libc.a, I  obtain a  
code for units with fpu!!!  So, cpu32 doesn't have any coprocessor. I  
am surprised because when I build the toolchain I was sure that this  
was for the generic 68000 cpu (without floating point units).

What can I do with the linker in order that it uses the right libc.a  
for the right cpu?
Any suggestions?
