sh3 toolchain: where bad things started to happen

  i added a final comment to the bug report here:

which explains that the bug reported there appeared somewhere between
the gcc-4.1 snapshots 20050917 and 20050924, if that's of any use to
anyone.  i'm not sure i have the time to narrow it down any further
than that.
