Hey, somebody else posted the same error at
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=24085
but said it was only a problem on an obscure OS.
I think you just proved them wrong; you should
post a comment there saying it happened for you on
gcc-4.1-20050702 for sh3-linux.
And, if you try it again with a more current
gcc-4.1 snapshot and it still happens, also
provide the preprocessed source and a minimal commandline.

Thanks for being so helpful with the bug reports - that's
the only way the minor platforms are going to be able to
keep up!
