Sorry ... that's "canonical system name" ... what you're passing along
as "m68k-elf". It's originally defined as a triplet (hardware-mfgr-os)
or sometimes a quadruplet (hardware-mfgr-os-tooling). I don't think I've
ever seen a simple pair, although I wouldn't be surprised to hear of an
instance that works ... you can make *anything* work if you hack at it
enough :-)
