crosstool-0.35 w/ NPTL patch running demo-i686-nptl.sh fails building libc

I'd say somewhere libgcc_eh.a has not been built (yet), or isn't
included on the linking command line.

AFAIK there's a patch for this in crosstool, called libeh-kludge or
something.  You might want to try to revert this patch, and try the
build again.
