ARM XScale Soft Float with Cross Tool

Hi Everyone,

Is anyone using soft float on the PXA 255 XScale? Will armv5b-softfloat
work, or is the 'b' for big-endian? (FastFPE or NetWinder FPE are too
slow for my application.)

What do your arm-xscale.dat and demo-arm-xscale.sh files look like? I
tried adding the soft-float arguments from arm-softfloat.dat to
arm-xscale.dat and it didn't seem to work (haven't finished checking
everything yet though). 

Will soft-float automatically use the ARM optimized floating point
functions (assembly, e.g. ieee754-sf.S and ieee754-df.S) or will they
use the generic C ones?
