Part of your frustration might come from the fact
that half the time, the gcc folks can't accept patches because
the branch is frozen.  Why not watch for the next time
the mainline is unfrozen (i.e., right after they fork off
gcc4), and repost any pending patches against mainline?
That'd give you a good shot at getting them in.

Don't count on me to do anything any time soon - I have tendinitis, an 18 month
old son, and am completely overloaded.
