updated version of mini crosstool script

perhaps pushing the bounds of mailing list protocol, i've attached
the latest version of my mini-ct script. the only significant update
lately is that you can specify an arbitrary set of patch directories
to pull patches from. the benefit of this is, if you're trying to
build with really recent snapshots of GNU software, you can keep your
local patches separate from the patches/ directory that comes with
crosstool, but the end result will of course be the same -- all
patches will be applied.

i want to make one more enhancement to the script. currently, it
builds with just the NPTL add-on, but i want to add a single config
variable so that you can build with linuxthreads instead.

if anyone has comments on the script or finds a bug, let me know.
thanks.
