GCC exception question...

  Thanks for this info, it seems like others too are not starting from scratch
but already have gcc-3.4.x something and just want to run 'patch' and update.
Maybe the diffs are soon there... Generally I can be happy with the weekly
snapshots but sometimes compiling the official releases could be motivated.
Maybe the gcc-3.4.2 was the first for which I have the sources, earlier only
having used those snapshots as 'gcc-3.4.x'...
