gcc long long compatibilty with ansi c

Hi everybody,
 I would like to compile a gcc generated coff binary and link them 
against another binary generated with a ANSI c/c++ compiler. There is no 
support for long long in ANSI c compilers. Is there a solution or 
workaround for this problem?
