[Crosstool 0.28rc25] failed demo-mipsel.sh on Mac 10.3.4

Martin Schaffner ran into that.  Try his patch:

This problem has been noted before:

and it would be nice if someone figured out a patch
that could go into the mainline kernel sources to deal with it.

I don't know if I can fix it in time for crosstool-0.28, but
I can at least document the issue.
