Oh, darn it.  I guess the --fuzz option isn't portable.
Try installing gnu patch for now, e.g.
ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/gnu/patch/patch-2.5.4.tar.gz
You could also remove the --fuzz=1 option, though that
might mean a patch or two won't apply cleanly, I'm not sure.
