crosstool 0-26 seems not to check success of patches

Not really.  I just didn't get around to figuring out
how to do -f (to force deletions) without sailing
through bad patches.  Either a different option,
or capturing the output and grepping.  I want to
do that for the next release.

I did catch a couple more conditions right, just not
that one...
