linker sections

Replying to my own question, in case someone else runs into a similar 
problem...

gnu.linkonce.r section contains instantiations of template functions.
gnu.linkonce.t contains virtual tables.

As far as name demangling goes, c++filt program may be used to go back to 
real names.

I was not able to locate any in depth manual...
