  Thanks, but the line-wrapping I was referring to was my own copy&paste...I 
did download from the url, and made changes, but the changes must be bogus 
:-(

  Yes, I would consider the change(s) I need to make to the patch you provided 
to be quite trivial and I was using emacs as well, so I can't blame it on the 
editor :-(
