crosstool-0.27: builduserland fails: arm-linux-gcc not found; I have arm-arm9-linux-gnu-gcc

  I need a minimal user environment and filesystem on the target (like 
coreutils and a little more) but not a full OS.  Is there a better way?  Like 
a cross-LFS (linux from scratch)?
