building gdb for xscale-elf on cygwin

I used the script from the bgatliff site to build a cross gcc toolchain for xscale. I was wondering how I could build gdb also for xscale-elf. Importantly, I would like the xscale simulator also. Are there instructions on how to do this. I searched google for this extensively but to no avail. Any help is appreciated.
