Building on MacOS X

Looking at crosstool-028rc1/crosstool.sh: Line 379
there is a 'cp -af' command to copy some floating point libraries. 
Unfortunately, the macosx version of cp doesn't have an archive option. 
And what is more there is no '--preserve==links' equivalent.

I can manufacture an equivalent using 'pax' if needed but I am 
wondering what the original intent was and if a simpler cp statement 
that avoids the '-a' would suffice.
