cross compile samba 3.0 fail but 2.2.8 ok

Hi, I try to cross compile the samba on arm. I found that I can compile
2.28 succ while when I tried same configure command on 3.0. it always
complains that 

checking for create64 ... yes
configure: error: can not run test program while cross compiling.

any hint on this? thx.
