glibc-2.2.5 patch for powerpc models without fpu ?

Montavista Hard Hat Linux 2.0 contained a patch for glibc-2.2.3,
hhl-powerpc-fpu.patch, that took care of the issues mentioned in
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/crossgcc/2002-05/msg00132.html
plus a bunch of related stuff presumably needed to get glibc running
on chips like the ppc405 that lack an FPU.

I'm rediffing that patch against glibc-2.2.5.  The parts which
move files around are trivial to rediff, I think, but the parts
which add new code I'm not so sure of.  Has anyone else already
updated this patch for glibc-2.2.5?
