Mips-g++ compiler

Hi,

 I am not able to execute simple C++ programs in the target(MIPS Malta)
 whereas i am able to execute C programs compiled using mips-elf-gcc.

 For C++ I'm using mips-elf-g++ cross compiler ( built with newlib)
 and gcc 2.95

 Please clarify if anyone had encountered this problem before.
