GCC Cross compiler how to???

Hi All,
I am wokring on an EISC project, and I have to add new instructions to
AE32k ISA. I know GCC cross compiler outputs binary for AE32k. Now I have
to modify the compiler so that it will produce binary for these extended
instructions of the AE32k ISA.

So, how should I go about doing this??
Which files potentially  need to be modified??

Any help in this regard would be appreciated.
