gcc on arm

I'm not sure how the page you referenced is built, but gcc 3.0.2 for arm-elf 
is quite mature and stable. I've been using it for my project and it's worked 
fabulously, particularly -mthumb-interwork with mixed -marm and -mthumb 
modules.
