Cross to 286

Hello,

I was wondering if GCC (3.0 for example) is able to be used for a 16 bit
cpu.
My target is 286 (embedded application).

GCC does not support 286 out of the box, but maybe someone has made a
'sub'-port of it.
(somewhat like the small gcc for 8051 and Z80 cpus.)
