"ld.exe: final link failed: Permission"

Hi all,
I am new to cross compiler and trying to build a cross compiler for win32->powerpc-eabi.
I do the following steps.
1. ./configure --target=powerpc-eabi   --host=i586-pc-cygwin32    (works fine).
2. make ( I get the error mentioned in as subject i.e. ld.exe: final link failed: Permission)
What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions!
Any kind of help in this regard will be appreciated.
