Cross for mcore

Hello,

I'm trying to build a cross compiler for Motorola's mcore processor. I
have built binutils-2.10 without problems with option
"--target=mcore-elf", but the same option to configure gcc (gcc-2.95.2)
is invalid. Someone knows how to build a cross compiler for mcore hosted
on cygwin??? Or it is impossible at the moment with gcc-2.95.2???
