Can't make gcc for avr

Hi all,

I'm using mandrake 7.0 and trying to compile the avr gcc
compiler. I think the 'make' step is trying to assemble
some avr instructions as 386 code. What can i do?

I've downloaded gcc-2.95.2 avr c-compiler sources,
then done:

cd gcc-2.95.2
make

This is some output i get:
