Can't open crt0.o

I wanted build cross compiler, after I build binutils and gcc,
I used cross-gcc to test a simple porgram, but error message:

/usr/armcoff/arm-unknown-coff/bin/ld: cannot open crt0.o: No such file or d
irectory
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
-- 
I think I should configure and build newlib,
but how to do?
