elf64 format ?

 The 'mips64vr4100-elf' - 'mips64vr5000' (for the NEC models) and the
'mips64orion-elf' (for IDT ?) targets could be better than the generic
'mips64-elf'. I have never studied the formats, but the 'elf32b4300'-
format seems to be the 'better' elf64... 

E:\usr\local\mips64-elf\bin>ld -V
GNU ld version 2.9.5 (with BFD 000425)
  Supported emulations:
   elf32ebmip

E:\usr\local\mips64vr4100-elf\bin>ld -V
GNU ld version 2.9.5 (with BFD 000502)
  Supported emulations:
   elf32b4300
