Version correspondance

Hi all,

Is there anything like a table of what version of binutils, gcc and
newlib compile together?

Specifically, I am trying to build a crossgcc to arm-elf, which is
apparently not possible with
binutils-2.9. binutils-2.10 supports arm-elf, but then it is a real pain
to compile with gcc-2.95.2.

Did I miss a version somewhere? (like a more recent gcc?)
