-frepo and O2 optimizations

This is gcc 2.95.1 on arm-linux:
when -frepo is used with -O2 I get a link error "undefined reference to
__uninitialized_copy_aux__......"
Does anyone know which O2 option causes that and can it be manually turned
off with -fno...
and the O2 still be used ?
