-mpcrel switch supported?

Hi ...

just another little question: is the -mpcrel switch supported by current version of gcc? I can't find any information about it. It is explained in the online manual at gcc.gnu.org but i can't find a gcc which seem to support it. Even the source code doesnt show any support.
