Hi,
This is what I get when I do a, make LANGUAGES="c", with no errors during
the make (target - arm processor; host - pentium running linux):
checking whether the c compiler (/usr/local/build/gcc/gcc/xgcc
-B/usr/local/build/gcc/gcc/ -B /usr/arm-elf/bin/ -g -O) works.........no
Configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot
create executables
I used
/usr/local/src/gcc-2.95.2/configure --target=arm-linux --prefix=/usr
--disable-threads
to configure the compiler in my build directory which is at
/usr/local/build/gcc. I'm using binutils version 2.9.5.0.24. Does anyone
know what may be happening here? I need this compiler to build ported linux
kernels for the arm processor i.e version 2.3.35 and associated patches and
diffs.
Thanks,
Nikita
