Big/Little Endian interfacing

Attached is a PDF schematic of how I percive the Little vs. Big
endian problem.  That is - not which is better (neither is) - but
rather what the problem actually constitutes of. The graphic is a
combined SW / HW view.

I hope someone that has a profound understanding of the problem 
at hand to comment on this presentation. Mostly wether it is 
correct or not. Personally I am confused.
