gnu-gcc utility for parsing warning messages

Hi,
  We are trying to find a utility that can summarize the warning
messages
output by the gnu-gcc compiler/linker. The tool should be able to count
and
report the number of incidents of each unique warning and also any
new one
that appears the first time.
  If anybody knows such a tool existing please let me know.
