GNAT/RTEMS is one very viable way to get this done. If you port RTEMS to
this CPU, then you will have a TCP/IP stack, POSIX threads, a pSOS+ like
interface, and much more.
There was a port of RTEMS to the H8 that was never submitted.
If you have questions about how much this involves, feel free to ask. It
is quite doable.
